• Mark Drinkwater carried out a calibration study of Radarsat ScanSAR Narrow B (SNB) images.

• Paris Vachon conducted a study of the impact of Radarsat ScanSAR image quality on ocean wind retrieval. He compared calibrated SWB images from four different processing facilities, including ASF. The ASF data stand out as different from the other three. His paper, along with many other interesting papers on SAR, is available from the web site of the CEOS SAR Workshop held in Toulouse, 26-29 October 1999:
