Trips into the unknown require extensive preparation. Like survival training! Here some of the APL contingent don survival suits, affectionately known as "Gumby Suits".

It is always advisable to have one's Gumby Suit close at hand in the event of emergency...

...such as finding oneself accidently overboard.

But the trick is to remain calm, seek out other crew members, and link up for safety while in the water.

For an extended stay in the water, the next order of business is to prepare a floating tent for shelter.

Not quite a five star hotel, but it will do.

Ahhhh, no problem.

Ok, the water will only be forty degrees colder up north, what do I need the suit for...
