POLES, A Component of NASA's Earth Observing System (EOS)
Polar Exchange at the Sea Surface (POLES) is an EOS interdisciplinary project
investigating the exchange of mass and energy at the air-ice-ocean interface
in the polar regions. The POLES program is located at the Polar
Science Center, Applied Physics
Laboratory, University of Washington.
