The University Inn is located 2 blocks north of the Applied Physics Laboratory. A block of deluxe rooms is being held for the nights of Tuesday April 29 and Wednesday April 30. Room availability is guaranteed until March 29. Rooms may or may not be available after that. When you reserve your room, mention that you are attending the meeting at the Applied Physics Laboratory to get the rate of $95/night (continental breakfast included) plus 15.6% tax.

  Just north of the University Inn, this new hotel opened in May 2002. It's a little more expensive but very nice. Free bicycles available for guests (Bruno note!).
