Cyclone Simulations with the Polar WRF

The following are Polar WRF simulations of several cyclone case studies we are investigating in detail. Each image in the movies shows 2m temperature (color shading), sea level pressure (black contours), and surface wind vectors. These model runs are being used as input data for the coastal ocean/sea ice model to study the cyclone's impact on fast ice along the East Siberian, Laptev, Chukchi, and Beaufort Sea coasts. Any question or requests for further information regarding the Polar WRF simulations, please contact Liz Cassano (ecassano@cires.colorado.edu).
