The
NPEO 2004 hydrographic survey consisted of
13 stations, repeating
the 2002 section toward Alaska from
the Pole and two key stations on the transect
to Alert, plus
stations of opportunity at the Borneo logistics
camp/runway and at the Mooring Camp.
Three casts were made at Borneo, which served as
dress rehearsals for the Twin Otter stations,
including Niskin Bottles to sample water for chemistry.
The two casts made at the Mooring Camp were made
with a lightweight winch without sample bottles.
Cast
4 was a troubleshooting station taken at Borneo
with a different instrument and is not included
in this collection.
