2001 Ocean Salinity Sections
| A v ertical ocean salinity section along the line segments connecting CTD stations from the North Pole toward Alaska was obtained from the North Pole CTD survey during April 2001. The sections do not follow a straight line, but rather follow the line segments connecting the positions of the CTD casts. Numbered red balls label actual CTD casts along the section. Click on these to view the temperature and salinity profiles in a separate window. Temperature sections are also available. (Click to view section in PDF format.)
