Vertical ocean salinity section along the line segments connecting CTD stations were calculated from the North Pole CTD survey during April 2004. The sections do not follow a straight line, but rather follow the line segments connecting the positions of the CTD casts.  Numbered red balls label actual CTD stations along the section.
