Upward Looking Sonar on bottom anchored moorings

Four locations in the Beufort Sea (see map)

Time interval

September 2003 to August 2017

Data processing notes

Data were processed and calibrated by R. Kirshfield., WHOI. Statistical summaries were computed from the 2-sec data by R. Lindsay, PSC

V20130819: 2008, 2009, and 2010 moorings were added in May 2012. Significant new processing steps were required at WHOI to account for extensive open water seen in some periods.

V20140918: 2012-2013 added

V20181201: 2013-2017 added

Number of samples

742x10^6 2-sec point values, 512 monthly averages
