To develop an implementation plan for SEARCH (Study of Environmental Arctic Change the Interagency Arctic Research Policy Committee formed a working group of program managers. They were from the following agencies: the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration(NOAA), National Science Foundation(NSF), National Aeronautics and Space Administration(NASA), the Department of Defense(DOD), the Department of Energy(DOE), the Department of the Interior(DOI), the Smithsonian Institution, and the Arctic Research Commission.
