This is a nearby lake where the local rowing club practices in the summer. Well, it’s not yet summer in late April, is it?! Actually, the snow/ice was melting rapidly, which didn’t stop Dan from exploring out from the shore. A few seconds later, Dan was slipping, sliding, and making his way hastily back to solid ground.
