The “Canadian/Greenland Data Hole”:
…perhaps the most poorly sampled region of the Arctic Ocean!
The Arctic Ocean is poorly sampled in general, especially in winter. But the area north of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and Greenland is particularly sparse in observations.
